Indulge me while I give you a bit of my background,
and what brings me to this place.
Seems my life has been a series of discovering myself anew.
Let me explain.
Let me go back a few years. Suddenly and surprisingly the Lord
called me to be a nanny.
Talk about being unqualified!
Age 49
Never married,
and had not been around children for years!
No room for me to question,
for the call was accompanied by a mandate:
“Make deposits in the hearts of children
from which they can withdraw the
rest of their life.”
I concluded I could make no
greater investment with my life.
Recently I was taken by another surprise:
I was asked to step out to become an author -
well, that thought surely wasn’t mine,
so it had to be divine!
His mandate to make deposits
in very young HEARTS continues
so children can truly know Him
not merely know about Him.
Thus, the first in the Child’s Heart series
will be:
GOD …I WANT TO KNOW YOU!
The Search That Led To An Outstanding Find.
The bite-size treasures of truth in these children’s books,
will also encourage and enlighten
the heart of the adult reading to them.
A heart is a heart at any age.
My blogs, however, are meant
for adults and even teens
(I hope they show up to the scene).
Truth is truth at any age
and the perfect antidote
for any heart.
God who is Love,
is also the Truth of you,
